MADRONE GUEST
HOUSE

A simple yet refined palette of board formed concrete, native Texan limestone, steel, and floor to ceiling glass creates a dynamic contrast to the wooded surroundings of the guest house.

An important feature to the design is the detached carport and its relationship to the guest house, creating a covered breezeway which is as functional as it is aesthetically important. The goal is to enhance and integrate the natural environment while maintaining privacy with the vertical louvered screen.
