MARIPOSA
Located in a private enclave of Malibu, CA, the concept for this remodel to an existing 70’s home was created from the outside in. The result was a minimalist bungalow with simplified lines and classic materials for a casual, yet refined, estate-like feel. The pool location and landscaping were essential features on the design to give it a lush and lived-in mood while maximizing the size of the property. Steel windows and doors, combined with a new roof, and stucco gives the home and entirely new look.
